se rendre malade - what does it mean?

I came across this phrase se rendre malade and a few different translations.

Is it the same as beaucoup trop s'inquiéter (worry yourself sick)?

Or is it just to make oneself ill?

It is when you do something in excess. Travailler à s'en rendre malade - to work too much until you get sick or crazy Manger des pizzas à s'en rendre malade - eating too much pizza until you get sick
