New Repeto leaderboard

Hi there, this is Pawel from the Repeto team.

I was wondering if you could give us your thoughts on a potential improvement to our leaderboard data calculation method.

Currently, the leaderboard is based on the total number of Gems earned by learners, regardless of when the lessons were completed. This can create a disadvantage for new learners, as those who have been using the platform for longer periods may have accumulated many Gems over time.

To address this, we are considering resetting all data on a weekly basis (most likely on Sunday nights) and displaying fresh data. This would ensure that all learners have an equal chance to compete and stay motivated.

We would greatly appreciate your feedback on this idea. Thank you in advance!

We have made this changed, the new leaderboards will show the number of finished lessons in a week starting from midnight (London time). Perhaps it will be possible to take into accout local time of the students, i will have a closer look at this.
