Good morning Guten Morgen

Good night Gute Nacht

Something very important to point out is that "Gute Nacht" must be written with "Gute" and "Guten Morgen" (like other greetings) needs "Guten".

The reason is that Nacht is feminine! Die Nacht. Whereas the others are masculine.

Guten Nacht Gute Nacht

Can anybody add pronunciation of Good night in German?

Is it just one way of saying it or do they use multiple greeting depending if it is formal or informal situation?
