Hi. Movies have both advantages and disadvantages 😀. The main disadvantage is that they are long. If you're not used to listening to so much English or your English listening is not good enough, you will struggle a lot and you won't get much benefit out of it. It's better to start with videos and then slowly move to movies. If your listening is good enough, you can start watching movies. But overall it's better to do a little bit of everything like videos and movies so that you can cover general language (movies) and topic-related language (videos).

Another tip I would give you is to avoid subtitles because if you use subtitles a lot it's more about improving your reading rather than improving your listening. It might sound strange but that's how it is. Good luck! 😀

Another thing I would like to add is that if you want to SPEAK more fluently, you simply need to speak. No listening or reading or grammar will make you speak more fluently. If you want to speak better, you have to speak more 😀
