Sam si sveglia alle 7 di mattina, ma è inverno, perciò fuori è freddo e buio.
Sam wakes up at 7 am, but it is winter, so outside it is cold and dark.
Non voleva svegliarsi ma deve andare a scuola.
He did not want to wake up, but he has to go to school.
Alle 7:30 la madre di Sam viene in stanza.
At 7:30 am, Sam's mum comes to his room.
“Devi svegliarti, Sam” dice sua madre, “sarai in ritardo a scuola”.

"Samuel, do not make me angry. In the winter, every Monday morning you say you do not feel well - I don't believe you" his mum says.
Sam non voleva svegliarsi, ma sua madre ha ragione, non sta male, ma ha freddo e non voglio uscire.
Sam did not want to wake up, but his mum is right, he is not ill. But he is cold and he does not want to go outside.
