The Lost Toy

The Lost Toy

When Luke was born, his dad gave him a toy car.

For ten years, this toy car sits on the windowsill in Luke's bedroom.

It is Luke's favorite toy because it is so special to him.

One morning Luke wakes up and the toy is not there!

Luke panics. Where is the toy?!

Luke runs to his parent's bedroom to ask them if they have the toy.

But they do not.

Oh no. Luke is very sad.

His toy car is not there, and he doesn't know what to do.

Suddenly, Max the dog runs into the room.

In Max's mouth is the toy car!

Luke shouts at Max until he drops the toy.

From this day, Luke keeps his toy car under his pillow, where it is safe forever.
