Lingo pie, a cool website for learning langauges with video

After being lazy for a few months, I decided to refresh my French a bit and came across a website called Lingopie. Do you know it? It is quite interesting, we can learn one of several languages (I think apart from French they have French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, German and Russian) by watching short videos. These can be short advertisements, parts of popular series and movies, TV clips and even the whole movies. This is really cool, as the content is quite enjoyable and the app has got some cool features for language learning built-in. So, when we watch a video we can display subtitles in the target language but also their translation in our own languages (there are some limitations but we can do it in English). Of course, it is also possible to watch movies without subtitles and switch them on only if we struggle to understand. Another quite useful feature that I noticed is the possibility of quickly going back to the previous sentence and playing it many times. That will certainly improve our understanding of spoken language. All in all, I think it is a great app and it is worth checking out.
