Coping with passages spoken quickly

As I have said before, while many of the passages are spoken at a speed slow enough for learners to understand, there are some that I find far too fast for my brain to process the meaning from auditory input alone. However, I have tried listening to some of those passages at an adjusted speed of 0.75, accessed from the settings icon, and find the voice is not unduly distorted and understanding is far easier. Maybe some other learners might benefit from this approach?
