Creating Dialogue post

If you choose Dialogue in the first step, the form will look similar to this. Please find the description below the screenshot:

1. What type of post do you create? - if you change your mind and you want to create the different type of post, you can still do so. The information below describes creating a Dialogue post.

2. Add sound - here you need to add a voice recording presenting a dialogue between two people. The file containing voice recording should be of good quality and in mp3 format. To attach the file, click the button and point to file location on your computer. In a published post when somebody clicks Start dialogue button, the audio with the dialogue will start playing.

3. Post title - please provide a title referring to the content of the dialogue.

4. Post content - enter here an introduction informing about your dialogue and what it contains, what students can learn from it, etc.

5. Select dialogue participants - choose two dialogue participants by marking two checkboxes. The order is important, the first marked person from the left will start the dialogue. So if there is a dialogue between a woman and a man, choose a woman on the left and a man on the right.

6. Write original text - this field should contain a transcription of your dialogue. For instance, if the dialogue is in Italian, this field should contain Italian text from the dialogue. Formatting is important and each paragraph corresponds to each expression(s) spoken by one person. So, if there are 6 expressions in total spoken by 2 people, this field should contain 6 written paragraph. Each paragraph starts with a new line, you press Enter on your keyboard to create a new line.

7. Write translation - here we put the English transcription of the previous field. So, if the original was in Italian, here is the English translation. If the dialogue is in English, you leave this field blank. Formatting is important and should mirror the one from the original. If original has got 6 expressions, put here also 6 expressions in English.

8. Select post language - choose the language you creating a resource for. If you describe English irregular verbs, this will be English. This is not a compulsory field if you write a general article 'How to remember vocabulary quickly' leave this field as it is so the post will not be linked to any particular language.

9. Select post category - this is a compulsory field. Basically, this will allow website visitors to quickly find a relevant resource. Choose between Grammar, Dialogue, Listening, Video, Vocabulary, Language learning tips. You can choose only one category. If the content of the post relates for two categories (like video explaining grammar) choose in your opinion most important category.

10. Do you want to publish your post? - you can decide whether the post will be published on the site or will it be saved in our Drafts. For example, you can work on the post for a few days, saving it in the drafts and only publish it when it is ready. If you want to publish it, mark the checkbox.

11. Save Draft / Publish Post - depending on your choice in the previous step, you will be able to either Save Draft or Publish Post by clicking the blue button.
